Our Story

A legacy of excellence spanning over six decades in the jewelry industry

The Beginning

Popular was established in the year 1963 with the blessings of Mr Kalyanji Naranji Adesara. With sheer determination and sharp business strategies, his sons, Mr. Vrajlal, Mr. Chandulal, Mr. Vallabhdas, Mr. Shantilal and Lt. Mr. Dullerai took it to new heights.

We ushered in a new era by trading fine quality silver jewellery including Payal, Juda, Kandora and Toe rings. Being one of the foremost players in dealing with fine quality silver jewellery, we also acquired the license to deal in hallmark silver items, the first brand to do so in all of Gujarat.

The retail showroom has expanded its customer base to 75,000 in a decade in India as well as over 15 countries worldwide. Continuing its legacy and trust of 61 years, we laid foundation to Popular The Jewellers at Akshar Marg in October 2024.
